As I sit here today…it snowed all day….not very spring like but you can see the snow slowly melting away! This is a picture I am working on…just about finished and still untitled. I enclose this for those of you who cannot wait to return to the splendor of Muskoka. Spring is coming….I did pick April 27th for ice out on Fairy Lake….hope so! Very busy right now getting the marina ready for spring boating and the out of storage marathon!
Some of you have seen some of my pictures on my blog but my paintings have not been included to date. Have not made a decision on that yet. These paintings take form 50 to 120 hours to do and with my schedule I only manage to complete about 3 per year. The inspiration for this picture came from a drive down a cottage back road last May after a new Cypress Cay pontoon delivery just north of Mactier and south Parry Sound .
Time permitting I may set up a display at Huntsville Marine after the May marathon! Enjoy and think spring in Muskoka!
